Dear Parents and Carers
Today we worked as a staff on developing our assessment framework for our Learning Collaborative. A very busy day but a lot of great learning which we believe will further unlock the learning potential of the children. Through the development and mapping of assessments and the language of learning that the children are consistently exposed by the classroom teams we are focused on growth.
We are all a bit brain dead but as I write, I am waving off the staff for the break and they are happy with their work.
Make sure you check out instagram for the upload of the song from yesterday’s assembly launch! Such a nice sound! Such a fun way to inspire our learning community.
We are excited to welcome Samira Kurdi to the role of Coordinator in the OSHC commencing at the beginning of Term 3. Samira who has been employed at Cubby House for the past 18months and is looking to develop as a educator and is excited to work with myself and the Diocese of Lismore to grow the business. More staffing announcements to come.
The calendar looks busy when you look above. Please note the changes which we have had to make to the date of the Final Awards Assembly (Year 6 dinner has not moved). We do not all fit in any venue which was available in the last week! (and we tried a long time ago). Thank you for your understanding.
Have a great break from morning lunch boxes and missing socks.
Ann
